Halloween Note Name Game for Elementary Music
Looking for a fun and easy music game to practice treble clef note names? These cut pumpkins can be used as a center activity or for the class game described below:

Interactive Class Matching Game
Make enough copies of the puzzle cards to accommodate your largest possible class so you have enough to give each student one half of a pumpkin. Shuffle the pieces.
Have students form a circle with hands open like this:

Hand out the cards – 1 half of a pumpkin to each student. Have them close their hands and not look until after all cards are passed out. Then allow students to study their cards for 10 seconds.
Once they’ve had time to figure out what their puzzle partner’s piece will look like, call “GO” and students move around the room to find their partner. When they find their partner they sit down together. That makes it easier for the remaining students to find their matching partner.
Play multiple times as desired. If you want to make it competitive, then the last few people standing can be “out.” This increases the sense of urgency.
